Congratulations on your purchase. I traded my BX1500 to a BX2350 this year after owning it for 3 years. Never had any problems with it. Not even the Kubota tires that won't hold air thing. It is one fine mowing machine that can also pull tractor implements. Didn't have the front end loader on my BX since I had a loader on my B7800. Watch that your hoses don't rub anywhere when operating the loader. If you take mowing deck off and reinstall, make sure drive shaft has clicked back into place and locked back on. You'll understand when you do it. If you never do it then it won't matter. Mine idled a bit rough unless the throttle was advanced a bit but I never considered that a problem. I just gave it a bit more fuel at idle.
Sit on it near the end of your drive when your neighbors are going to or from work so they can ask you alot of questions or start viscious rumors about you to get you out of the neighborhood. Yes, my neighbor went through 2 or 3 different "mowers" before he finally bought a BX1800 then traded that for a BX2350 with FEL last year.

I looked at your picture, that looks like a nice machine. Good price also. I bet if you priced a new deck and end loader for that through Kubota, it would be almost $5000. You got a good deal.

Mine idles "rough" but I believe it is because of the inline 2 cylinder vs a 3 cylinder. I guess I will clarify when I say rough I mean the motor shakes pretty good which rattles the hood at the lowest idle. When you increase the rpm's it smooth's out. I don't see it as an issue especially if it smooths out as rpm's increase.

When I seen this I had hard time finding one to compare to see what it was worth. In the end I see now that it ended up as a good deal. I know I will really like this little guy and so will my back. :D

I priced a new 48'' mmm for $1450.
I don't know what a new FEL runs.

I bought the BX1500 that Jonh Thomas traded in but I didnt know it at the time. He is in the next state over from me and I bought a larger tractor and asked the dealer if he had any good used mowers and I ended up buying a BX1500 with 104 hours and a 54" MMM and a grill guard and they did the 100 hour service beforethey delivered. I paid $5500.00 so I would say you got a great deal. Yes it vibrates at low idle but its not an issue its inherent to the 2 cyl engine. I have read that the 2 cyl motors will last just as longas the 3 cyl. It runs the 54" MMM just fine even in tall grass. Enjoy
