I'm starting a new customization and I've never seen it done here so by starting this thread before I know what the outcome will be my face could be /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif by the time this is over. I'm starting by cutting a piece of metal 4"X41-1/8" and it's 1/8" thick.

Oh, great, another Milkman project that I probably can't live without ... most likely have to put off my fence project, again /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

This stuff looks like aluminum, but it is a lot tougher, don't know what it is, it's really stiff.

I got one the right size and all riveted together, now all I have to do is make another one exactly like it. Anybody wanna guess.

How 'bout a little help ... is it for the BX, an implement or something not tractor related /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Throw them on the ground and fill them with birdseed. No bottom so they won't accumulate water either. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

It's obviously a minimalist culvert. One "tube" under each tire lane and no wider than absolutely necessary. I love it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

What you probably have there is a piece of 6061-T6 aluminum. Be careful if you try to bend a 90 degree angle in that stuff. Too sharp a bend radius and it will break.
Hmmm, my guess is "The worlds largest cookie cutter" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I recognize that. It's a 'tire-sleeve'. Makes your tires flat-pruf. They don't get very good traction though, unless you put some studs in them. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The bars are wearing down on my front tires. (that's the excuse I used) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I donno...The pic. of it bent in the vise make me think you were making commas, or perhaps question marks.

Then came the pic. of it in a circle, so it had to be you were making periods, or the bottom of the , /or ?

Is there a prize?

Here's one side finished, have to fix a leak around the bead on the other side before I fasten the other side on.
