Thank you Catsco for the suggestion, I put mine under my left Leg when I get on and fasten the belt. I may have to get a rubber band or zip tie and coil it up.

After I buckle up, I throw the slack between my legs and it somehow manages to stay there all the time. But really, since I'm the biggest person to use the tractor, I should just trim a foot off of it and be done with it.

The real problem isn't when it is buckled, anyway. It is if you forget to put it on and then drive forward. The left rear tire runs over it and then tries to drive up to the driver's seat, which, of course, can't happen, so it pulls the driver's seat down to the left and then spins on the belt for a while. You feel this weird leaning sensation and go, WHOOPS! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

My seatbelt came off and stayed off when I changed the seats out on my 422. Of course I am the type person who will cock a 45 and lay it in the seat next to me when if drive my truck. Sold my moter cycle the day before I got killed on it too. BE careful so you can keep having fun. An accident puts a hamper on the fun.

Your doing great on your first project, looks really good. Errors are just a part of learning and they never stop, thank goodness.
Great pictures, keep them coming.

Welcome. It sure looks like flat land where you live, would you be willing to trade some flatland for some hills?

Yep. Careful on those slopes. And watch out as you learn to negotiate the PT around those trees. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now that's the kind of place where I need to learn how to operate heavy machinery. I'd still probably manage to run into something. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Nice spread you have there.

Adjust the belt to the maximun size that you would ever need, add one inch, cut off the excess, use a match to melt and seal the cut end!!

I thought about trimming our belt, but I might put on some pounds as I grow older... can't maintain this girlish figure forever, you know? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

If that happens, just go on Adkins... Then you'll have to trim some more off.... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
