Yeah, rocking the treadle back and forth while yanking on the parking brake is a pain. Many years ago I intended to modify a parking brake foot pedal assembly from a 2000 Impala to take the place of the stock handle. But it will take some modification. I would suggest you find a junkyard for delivery trucks, fork lifts, etc... and look for one of these....
