Shoot!!!! Go with a can of air and a screw driver as well. Might be blocked in the tank. Canned air you can blow back up the hose.

Good thought. Thanks.

Bummer! I hope it is just the screen filter and you're up and running soon. All the best!

Jeepers...! Hate it when that happens on a brand new machine (of any kind)...

Not to mention, when I opened the hood to work on the fuel problem, the hydraulic radiator had fallen from the hood and was laying on top of the engine. Figure they put this one together the day before deer season started. :) I'd probably be more paranoid if I wasn't a long time PT owner. Have to treat these situations as training.

There's a suction strainer in the tank. You can't blow it too far...

I found a 3/4" piece of plastic and some shavings when I cleaned mine.

All the best,

Peter

Ain't that the truth. Fortunately, PT uses good parts and these machines are pretty rugged. Wouldn't hurt to go around and test the "snugness" of all the nuts. Buying a PT is sort of like buying a Chinese machine tool. Don't expect the assembly to be perfect out of the box.

X2 on tightening everything hoses, and bolts.

PM me if you want tips on getting the hydraulic back in. I had to buy some 15 deg. ratchets to get mine back up.
All the best,
Peter

Thanks Ponytug. Already got the radiator back in. Wasn't to bad getting to the bolts after removing the fan. I plan on checking all nuts and bolts if I ever get it off the mountain.

You know, that's a brilliant idea to get to the bolts from the fan side.
(Sound of serious head banging on brick wall...)
Why didn't I think of that? Sigh... So much to learn...

All the best,

Peter

I hate it when someone points out something obvious that I should have known!!! I only have so much skin left on my forehead from slapping it!

On that subject, any of you know how to peel a banana? My kid showed me this method a few years ago.... 50 years of fighting bananas! Yeesh!!! Enjoy. :licking:
