New pull type blower

No wonder the design is clever, he's a Canadian!

The chain design with added weight would overcome the need for 2 cylinders.

IDEA-- make blade reversible* with teeth on one edge for iced surfaces making that available down pressure really work for U.

*(more like flip over)

I suppose a pull type blower has some advantages, but for me, the advantage of a snowblower vs. a blade is to clear the snow before you have to drive through it !

If you have a big enough tractor not a problem.

Adding a rear blade is a big improvement.
You can back right up to a garage door and pull the snow forward, raise the blade and back up a little and then blow the pile you pulled forward.

Made the blade myself. !/2" plate. Even use it as a box blade for some landscaping.

Exactly,:thumbsup: My L4200 had no problems whatsoever driving over 2 feet of snow.
I've had several rear push blowers but once I got this rear pull, it was a god send.
I would never , ever , go back to a rear push.
Driving in reverse just doesn't make sense to me anymore.

takes a couple of storms to figure the plan of attack. But so far, for me, it's the way to go. I'll hang on to the old push type for a year then sell it. But i can clear my yard in less time and its alot easier on the neck.

A good inverted blower will clear equal to, or better than a pick up truck with a plow on the front. In my experience, the inverted blower is better in many ways.

As for driving over the snow I actually have to pack down the snow a Tad so that my real scraper blade on my snowblower doesn't chew up the gravel

I like it, my neck is much better

OP,
wondering if you have had a chance to compare the lucknow pull behind to the Normand/Pronovost blowers
hard to find much info on them in my part of the world. I imagine your experience has been good as you replaced a lucknow with a lucknow
