Its okay to me, as a reader, if the OP disappears. The Thread still has value. I would never use RR ties for anything on my property, aside from making steps on a trail distant from the house.

Definitely could be useful to dissuade someone else thinking about it... it may be extremely rare but people do search threads sometimes before asking questions
