I did a search on building a cab for my BX23 and saw a couple of ideas using a golf cart cover and decided to go ahead and use those ideas for mine. Thanx to the ones that gave me the ideas!

I ordered a golf cart cover from Northern tool, $99.00 shipped.
Bought some 2X3's, a piece of plywood, and 8 hose clamps. Use the lower ROPS to secure the rear uprights and the front end loader brackets for the front upfights. Braced the top and added the plywood roof. Rounded the corners of the plywood so as to not have sharp points stressing the cover. Clipped it down to the fenders with huge paper clips. Viola!

Total cost was about $140!:)

As you can see there are some gaps down by the floor but overall it will do the job quite well in keeping the snow from blowing back into my face.

Thanx again for the ideas.

bugs, I am considering the same for my TZ22da New Holland Boomer. I have already a firebird fiberglass top on my ROPS. Have you had any issue with visability.. My only concern is trying to see through the windshield and snow or then melted ice from the heat of the tractor inside the cover.

Do not know if the blowback snow will stick, but the others that I copied from say the snow does not stick and it is quite cozy inside. The sides of the golf cart cab are only 58" long so if you use the fiberglass top the sides may come up short. I made the height of mine about two inches above my head when I am sitting on the seat. Works fine for getting in & out.

Love the golf cart cover idea!! Any info on where you ordered it from available? Why did you remove the top 1/2 of ROP? Couldn't you have run 2x4just past top of ROP then secured you roof? I have BX23 and with the terrain around my place would feel secure working without ROP.

This is what I bought and where I got it: Classic Accessories Golf Cart Rain Cover | Golf Car Covers | Northern Tool + Equipment

I did not use the ROPS because the tractor will not fit in the garage with the ROPS in place so I removed it.

Meant to say "would not".

Thanks for the infromation. Have purchased a few items from NT+E but had not thought about these covers.

Makes sense now. I would have same issue if I had not purchased a 13x20 shed. Doorway is tall enough that I can enter and exit without folding the ROP.
