New style Kioti KL130 loader - OEM improvement?

Well I finally remembered to check my kl130. Yup, it has the reinforcement and it also has cracks. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif (I took some pics but I can't find the cable that goes from the camera to the computer right now. I will post them later when I find it.) There are two larger ones on the left side of the tractor as you sit on it and the right side has smaller ones. It is cracked right where the reinforcement ends. I will be contacting my dealer tomorrow to see what he says. It will be interesting to see how this gets fixed since it had the reinforcement.

I removed my cover yesterday which is a total pain in the butt with weld spatter causing thread restriction. Anyway, mine has reinforcement from Kioti. The welder that reinforced the loader with angle iron to fix the cracks added weld between Kioti's radiused reinforcement, the loader boxframe, and his new angle iron reinforement to tie it all together. Pics to follow.

The reinforcement from Kioti won't prevent cracks. Be careful with it and be sure to check for cracks before the 1-year warranty expires.

What exactly should I expect the dealer to do? I'm pretty sure I won't wind up with a new loader, but should I be the one to push the dealer to hound Kioti?, or should I be doing any of the calling? Since I've never had to use a warranty before I'm not sure what I should expect. I assume a lot will be left up to the dealer. ( I know never assume) The cracks right now are small even the large ones are only about maybe 3/8" but to me that is still to big. I only have about 37 hours total on the tractor with about half with the FEL and half with the BH. Still haven't found that darn cable.

With warranty work, as this is if you have less than 1-year since purchase, the dealer should handle everything. If you are not satsfied with the dealer's response then you are free to hound Kioti directly. The first course of action is to call the dealer. In my case the dealer took my loader, applied Kioti's recommended fix, and gave it back to me. I am not happy with it so I informed the dealer and the dealer is getting me a new loader. Your point of contact should be the dealer.

More than one year since purchase? I would still have the dealer try and get it replaced since Kioti will likely want to take care of folks with this magnitude of trouble.

I purchased this in late October or early November, can't remember of the top of my head but DEFINITELY less than a year. Well here is the first pic. This is the left side which is worse. (Hopefully this works, I've never attached a photo)
