my dealer is saying that he's expecting a new scut from Mahindra by end of July with mower and FEL under 10K. Before I buy a Kubota XB1500, does anyone know anything about this new model? My dealer doesn't have any literature or specs on it but says it's comming.....

where did you hear that? its kinda interesting if mahindra could enforce some quality control and get a good price for the machine. i hope its a little heavy for a subcompact and if mahindra will back it up. i know my dealer aint interested in any of it, he said mahindra was going to get some cheap stuff like kubota and he aint interested in going in the lawnmower buisness. i dont see where kubota is cheap. maybe he just preferes farmers for costomers, i dont blame him, they are more self sufficient, more likely to know how to fix it themselfs unless its serious. i will want to see one of these as soon as possible.Poboy said:They have a chinese model on the way. don`t know the price .

Maybe Musa Marketing will chime in? Most of us dealers know the new products that are coming soon, but we hesitate to give specs until we get them on the lot. As has been mentioned here before, they are working on a model built in China, 3-cylinder, shuttle shift, about 25HP and 4wd. Some tremendous quality improvements have gone into that plant and I look forward to testing one of these. In general, it appears there will be a couple of smaller Mitsu built 15 series coming this fall, but I don't know if the smallest will actually be a sub-cut, perhaps just a small cut. Mahindra is determined and aggressive as it builds out the model lines.

how could you get smaller than a 2015 and not be a scut? this is some interesting stuff, im glad i havent got a little one yet, im going to wait and see these new mahindra's, i really liked the massey gc2300 and kubota bx2350 but i would prefere to stay with mahindra, it will need a hydrostat transmission though.
