New TC29D vs. Used TC33D low hours...

Man is this site great...

I just visited my local NH dealer. This is what my decision boils down to...They have a Used 2001 TC33D w/7308 loader for $15,900, 66 hours, (the story is the guy traded up to a bigger tractor) VS. New TC29D w/loader for $18,200.

Of course with the new I can do the 0% financing - can't on the used...what's the consenus?

The 4 Horsepower would be nice but not necessary. The 66 hours is no big deal. You will lose some warranty on the used.

I guess I would go back to the dealer and ask him how much more for a new TC33D. The upgrade for me was only a $1,000 more to go from the 29 to the 33. If it wasn't that I already jumped from the 25 to the 29 I would have done it. I have seen quotes on TBN for only $600.00 to upgrade. I would pressure him some more and by all means, check out the pricing at another close dealer and find out how much they want for a 33 and loader. If the new 29 doesn't have Super-Steer my opinion and my opinion only is your paying too much for the 29 new. Mine with Super-Steer and Loader was only $17,000.00. Now the area you live in will make a difference but I would just check the guy out.

I stopped in last week at my local NH dealer.(Northeast Indiana) He quoted me a price of $17,600.00 for a TC33d,r4tires,and loader. All new. You may want to shop the price of the TC29d around a little. Also priced the IH version,DX33d,and it was within $50.00 of the NH.
