Thank you. I heard that in US,
the LAW ask people should mow
the grass near his house, so this
is why people want to buy mower, is this true?
Good morning Mr. Yuan,
The development of the lawn mower in the united states and other
areas is primarily due to homeowners and farmers that did not want
poisonous snakes near their homes and farm buildings as the tall grass
provided cover for the snakes and also prevented the person walking in
the tall grass from seeing a venomous snake.
Now as far as mowing these days, zoning laws in some municipalities require that
the home owner mow the grass around their homes and keep thier grass mowed
and thier flowers beds are freeof weeds and thier shrubs are properly
maintained/sheared and shaped.
This occurs in areas that have "Home Owner Associations" which involve condominium complexes
and gated communities These are referred to as condominium complexes which are not open
to the general public-meaning the roads are private and entrance to the areas is regulated or
restricted to the property owners themselves or persons permitted to enter the gated community to
do maintenance like mowing or plumbing at one of the homes.
If the home owner does not maintain thier property they will be required to pay a fine for
their not maintaining thier property.
