I've got a 2003 z71 Tahoe that I got the hair brained idea to cut apart with 100k miles on the clock. Dropped in a 4bt Cummins with a built 4l80e trans and stand alone controller. Now it's compound turbo charged.. has a Hummer H2 rear and 4.10 gears.
