So I went ahead and ordered the suspension seat that comes on the new models. Put it on and let my wife take it for a spin.... lesson learned for me, glad she didn't crash it and hurt the mower, I mean hurt herself lol.

That is funny and scary at the same time. I lifted the front wheels off the ground traveling too fast over a driveway that had a gopher mound hidden.

Now you will never get to cut the grass.

Great video--When I first got mine, I couldn't believe how fast it was compared to others I'd tried...Actually laid tire in the garage pulling it out, wasn't expecting that.

Have been using a zero turn for about a dozen years. We are basically flat land but my in laws yard has a slope down to a branch that can be wet with water seepage. Hard to use a zero turn on wet slope, the rear tires are pulling and being slowed or stop to steer, easy to bog. Check the owners manual for tire air pressure, you may find your have them at higher pressure than recommended and that will really affect the ride. Be careful on wet slopes around a ditch, easy for them to slide side ways. If it begins to slide sides ways into a ditch or such turn downhill as soon as you can. Much safer hitting it head on than sideways.

My 16 year old grandson cut our lawn today with our Ferris. He was grinning from ear to ear.

I would love to try out a Ferris for the smoother ride.

I have kicked around the idea of adding rubber isolaters to the new seat, and also converting to a pivoting front axle, but that would be a huge project, and makes me think go ahead and get a ZD that already has the pivoting front axle.
