2009 massey ferguson GC2410TLB
Hello everyone, just signed up to the site. I've owned my massey now for 15yrs.
09 GC2410TLB with a 60in mower deck. Other then regular routine maintenance yearly and second set of mower blades, she been a pretty reliable tractor. She has approx 550hrs. I did replace the battery, but I went with a battery for a honda. Fit perfectly and a lot cheaper then the original replacement.

Yeah, and a related question: I see that heavy mount on the rear that is obviously not a 3pt hitch. I assume that is (strange to me but no doubt common) backhoe hardware. Have you used it much or at all as a backhoe? Do you find it handy/cumbersome/rotten or easy to put the 3pt hitch hardware on? Good to see the "15 year report." People do appreciate seeing these things every once in a while.

Welcome to TBN................
Thank you(y)
Very nice and also clean, looks almost like new. (y) Yes, Welcome....
Thank you and yes I like to keep her clean as much as possible. At least once a year she looks like that for a short while.

Unfortunately I don't have a Pic of the back hoe on the tractor, I do of the loader somewhere. I'll have to search for it.
Yes the back plate attachment is for the back hoe. Fairly simple to put on. Takes some getting used to if your not familiar with using backhoe controls at all. In all the years I've owned it, I have used the backhoe 6 times. Front loader lots of times. I took the 3point assembly off cause it just gets in the way of hooking up trailer and my lawn roller. I've never used the 3point hitch for anything.

Yes I do and thank you!

"Never using the 3pt for anything" -- that is quite rare among the owners I know. Interesting spectrum of what people do with the machines they buy. Maybe (probably) I do not have a good sample as to what people are doing statistically with the GC240 TLB size/type machines. Good info all around.
