I am currently working on making my trailer a little longer to accommodate my ATV's and picked up a Miller 375 Extreme plasma cutter-

Miller - Plasma Cutters - Spectrum® 375 X-TREME

I have to say this is a very nice unit for its size and portability. Runs on 110 or 220.

My family told me the same thing..especially with the portability of the thing. Told me if I left it sitting around to long it would disappear.

They had a demo at a recent car show. Cut 3/8 material very nicely. Think they were on special for around 1100. Not a bad deal. I was looking at a hypertherm. Double the money but cuts 1" with ease. 80% of the need would be with 1/2" or less. The portability feature sure is great.
