Do the XR1315's have the ESC feature that the 41 series tractors have? (Engine Speed Control)
Just curious.

Yes. Switches are on the right-side column in the cab, and shows in the digital display under the hours.

So since the dealer didn't know squat, and LS won't share the owner's manuals online, how exactly do you use the ESC, if you don't mind... ??
(Not necessarily what is it for, as i can think of a couple uses, but rather how do you set and adjust it? I couldn't get it to do anything on the demo tractor...)

Not a clue. :confused3: The manual is none too clear about it either. I did some online searching, and came up with pretty much nothing as it relates to a diesel engine. Everything I found is regarding DC electric motors.

On the XR3037HST you press the HST pedal to get to the speed you want then hit the lock button on the dash. I hear a solenoid kick in and holds the pedal at whatever speed you were at when the button was pressed. I haven't looked into how it works. It works great when on the road or field mowing etc so you don't have maintain pressure on the pedal. I'd guess the 31/41 series operates the same.

That's for the cruise control, George. He's asking about the Engine Speed Control (ESC) switches.

Sorry, I didn't know the 3135 has engine speed control. On my tractor that's called a throttle lever.
Does he mean an auto throttle function mode that increases engine RPM with the HST pedal or is ESC something different. LS doesn't mention it that I could see.

No, there's no auto throttle, but the 31 and 41 series tractors seem to have buttons that can set and ideally maintain engine speed... The only use for it I can think of is when you're on the backhoe, you can flip the switch to idle up, and again to idle down... Aside from that, the hand throttle would work fine... ??? We just couldn't get the switch control to work. I just found something suggesting it won't work if you're on the brake, and I may have had my foot on the brake...

Where is this switch located? I don't see it looking at the dash on the LS site.

I have two switches on the right column. One is an on/off, and the other is a set/up/down. The engine RPM shows on the digital display under the hours when it's on. I couldn't get mine to do anything either. With 1stDeuce's info, I assume it's because I had the parking brake on.
