Kubota LX3310
Good day today. I picked up a new Sure Trac 14' 14k lb dump trailer. It's very well made, great fit and finish. I opted for the scissor lift, wireless remote, spare tire and best tarp kit. The only thing I might do is have a set of ramps made just like the originals, but in aluminum, getting too old to be lifting those heavy ramps, LOL. After picking up the trailer I drove to the Kubota dealer and picked up my new BX25D. Options were factory thumb, Bxpanded belly guard, 3 pt hitch, and Land Pride grapple. Trailer is rated at 3600 lbs empty, I figure the BX and accessories was about 3000, so 6600 lbs loaded. It pulled just fine behind the Expedition, it has factory tow package and rear air suspension. Actually got 10.9mpg on the 160 mile trip home.

I've got a Holmes single axle landscape trailer that's served me well, but when I load it up with brush, limbs, etc and take it to the landfill, it takes me 3x as long to unload it cause everything gets intertwined. It will be nice to push a button to dump rather than unload by hand. The BX fits well in the new trailer.

When I am going to load a trailer with brush/trash etc. I lay a long chain in the middle of the trailer from front to back and attach the chain to the first large object at the front of the trailer, then fill the trailer normally. To unload I take the end of the chain at the back of the trailer and attach it to something stable and drive the trailer forward and it unloads itself in about 5 seconds. At our local trash dump the fellow who drives the trash crusher is always more than happy to attach his bumper to my chain at the back of the trailer and pulls everything off in seconds. Hope this makes sense.....

Sounds like a fun day of picking up new stuff. No end to the stuff you'll be able to do now.
