I was speaking metaphorically :D But, yes, am aware of your horrid story:eek: (in my area there is very, very low threats from lightening; but, I've been in other parts of the country/world and have experienced what it's like in real lightning pone areas- I actually was within 50 yrs of a [live] lightening strike; fortunately I was on the other side of a building that it hit next to)

We used to live in a bad lightning area in Maine so we had the pole near the house heavily grounded by the utility company. My wife was out rinsing dust off the car as a storm was approaching and we were in the barn yelling at her to get inside because of the approaching storm. Anyway, lightning hit that pole that was maybe 25 FEET away from her. It wasn't a huge clap or anything but four of us were watching from maybe 100 ft away and it was very clear what happened. We all were is disbelief and things seemed to happen in a millisecond.Wife was unharmed and while she knew something big happened, didn't believe it right away despite all of us telling her.

Wow hate to see that. I don’t know the story but sure hope nobody was injured

Garage Door Opener got fried. Surround sound on TV never worked again and a few Motion sensor lights got fried. House shook. And something power surged in the control panel of the tractor to cause a short. Thunder got my wife up early, as she could not sleep, and notice tractor on fire. Lucky me. Me, I'd sleep thru N Korean Nuke attack.

Glad the house didn’t catch fire sounds as bad as it was it could of been a lot worse. Just happy no one was hurt. That’s a lot of close damage and next storm you’ll sit up all night worrying. Good luck getting everything straightened out.

Hey Mike, Don't mean to hijack this thread but it seems like it has already strayed a bit. Anyway's I just got a mahindra 2565 cab shuttle from out of town.....way out of town. Was curious who do you use as a dealer. I too live in central NH and dealt with the dealer in Brentwood but very little with the one in Weare. Brentwood I have mixed feelings. And Weare ,they have been very helpful with parts on other brands. Weare is obvious closer but want your input. Thanks

Brentwood Dealer is well established. I have dealt with them very little, shopping them when I bought both my Kubota L39 and Max28. I ended up buying the L39 form a little guy the Big NH Orange dealer later ate and closed down.
Depends on the day, and who you are, and what they have to sell, but comparing The Concord, Milford, Brentwood dealer to The Big NH Orange guy selling Orange machines, the are a bit more competitive. In N.E. the prices are high period. I bought a leftover Max28 in New York at a good price. Well over $2K difference between that and a Max26 Local. I've gave Weare the chance to get close ($1,000) to match what I paid for the Max28 with a new Max26. They could not do it.

I buy parts at Weare, and even knowing they did not get the sale, Weare dealer worked with me on my one electrical problem under warranty. It was a tough problem in the an intermittent wacky fuel solenoid that required them to work with Mahindra cooperate. They could have left me in left field, but eventually took care of the problem and I'm grateful of that. I bought my 1526 curl cylinders from Weare and they helped me with PN and dimensions to complete the modification. I suspect Brentwood would not be jerks either, as they deal with commercial customers and various product lines.

Good Luck with the 2565. Good size machine. Is it a Cab mode? Guy down the road has a Mahindra 595? Cab, the model replaced by the 2555.

Thanks mike. I heard that the concord store isn't handling Mahindra. Brentwood is the go to location for their Mahindra customers.. Too far for me. I agree what day and who gets the call. Weare has helped me over the phone many times on other brands. Not a lot of service managers would do that. In their old location the Weare dealership was a at times "standoffish" but recently since the move they seem better. Maybe new management. I am going to Give my buisness to Weare even though I have an account In Brentwood. The tractor I got out of Alabama and has yet to arrive. End of next week ETA. Bought it from the finance company as a repo. 2016 2565 cab shuttle FEL and 75B backhoe. My first Mahindra. It has 323 hrs and has not had the computer reflash. After a few weeks of shake down its off to Weare I go

Another thing, On the asset sheet it lists a "spool kit". Am I correct in assuming it could be a second hydraulic line set to the rear? It does come stock with one set. Maybe the back hoe requires a second set. Any one with thoughts on that would be great.. In the past I have operated an older Mahindra a 40 hp 4wd. I don't recall the model. Maybe a 3540 or something 40. It had the shuttle. Very unforgiving when shifting Forward to reverse and reverse to forward. Had to be total stop at time of shift or it would grind. Have they advanced with this or is it still must be at dead stop when shifting the shuttle. I read some where in tractor description about syncro's but not sure if it applied to shuttle shifting. One other thing it had was a switch that when 3 point hitch was lifted the PTO would automatically stop. This could be turned on or off. I don't see that here. Is that a flash in the pan feature that was not popular or just does not apply to this model line.

Hi Spentit. I assume the Weare dealership you refer to is the one now located in Warner, NH. I purchased a new tractor from them about 11 months ago. It was a Mahindra 2555 hst open station with 75B backhoe. Am very pleased with them and would give them thumbs up!
