New tractor

My yard consists of about 3 acres and I am thinking of replacing my John Deere L130. Any suggestions? I was thinking of a Craftsman professional grade machine with a 54" deck. Which is better, the Kohler or Briggs and Stratton engine? Thanks.

I have a L130 and mow 2.5 acres. 1 negative thing with L130 is no way to change hydrostat fluid in rear axle. Do a search on here for 'K46 problems' I don't know anything about craftsman mowers but if it has a servicable hydrostat then go with it.

Welcome! How about considering a good commercial zero turn ? They will last much longer and be more trouble free than any Sears mower.
