New tractor

Love seeing pics of tractors working in the woods!

I wasn't aware these tractors had the Epto setting? I had specifically looked for that on Kioti's website but didn't see it. Do you know if others in the RX range have the Epto? Also, did you get the creeper gears? I really love the size and power of the RX 6010 for most of my needs, but I need either HST or a creeper gear, and it doesn't appear that anything other than your tractor is available with the creepers.

I think the e pto is on the RX6010, for my uses, didn't need creeper gearing, but would like a lot more in the mid range. In the low range 1 gear, slow enough for me. Finally getting used to the shuttle, had a couple of times that I went to fast in reverse for my liking.

Piston,
Have a look at the LS P7010. It may fit your bill!

Catskinner:
Congrats on your wild beast! I was wondering if you could give us hard figures, regarding the fuel consumption. As I feel you are bringing up a very important point that not too many care to know or find out before commiting oneself to a new tractor purchase.
This is important to me, as it is one major expanse threw out the usefull life of such an important piece of equipment. hope it serves you well for a long time as you seem to be in a position to put quite a bit on seat time on it. Curiously, are your tires loaded?
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks woodchipper! I think the P7010 would do just about everything I want, except I don't believe it has a hydraulic shuttle shift option? Otherwise, it looks impressive.

I have close to a 100 hrs on the K, no hard figures, but I use so little, that I find myself looking into the tank when I don't quite believe the gauge. I know when running the haybine or hay rake I went through half as much fuel the Allis Chalmers 170 (gas), whole lot less than the Massey 1085. I used 3/4 of tank about 15 gal on a 7 Ac hayfield with 20 miles of road running.
I didn't load my tires, only had one case of the rear end coming up, trying to lift a 38" x 8' walnut log, cut it in half and life was good. The self leveling loader is great. I have ran it through 2' of mud, pulling logs like nothing.

Took the RX7320 out to do a little logging today. Belly deep in mud and heavy logs were no problem. I have 80+ hrs now, still no issues at all, which I expected not have any.

Brute of a machine, I'm jealous. Wagon is a little overkill for that machine

Thank you very much for posting your info on your new Kioti! I just love the look of your tractor and will be going to look at one on Monday. Can you tell me if it has a speedometer? I do a lot of spraying and have to know how fast I am going in the field.

Thank you again,
Glenn

I like the speedometer on my NH TN55, reads to the tenth of a mph. For the DK45 if I need the speed I fire up an old gps or my map app on the cell phone.
