I had an extra light that I did not want to use on the tractor, so I mounted it on the rear of the toolbox for light when loading/unloading at night. I mounted a weatherproof switch on the side of the box for easy access.

I have not loaded the tractor for the road yet, so no pics of the trailer loaded. When I do I will try to get some pics.

Thanks guys for all the inspiration...

kennyd,
Nice looking trailer and a great job with the tie-downs. One question though, in the third photo, is there only one screw in the center of the 2 x 6 holding it to the crossmember??? If so it may cause some premature cupping of the boards. Hopefully my eyes are playing tricks on me.

Good eye, Yes, it sure is.

Thanks for the kind words

Yes, there is only one screw, they do cut some corners when they build them, Maybe it was to reduce weight /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Overall, compared to other crap I looked at, this was built really well.

kennyd,
I'll second the crap out there. It took me 6 months to find the trailer I wanted to replace my old one. I ended up buying a 20 ft. Pequea made in New Holland, PA.

kennyd,
Nicely done.
I need to mount a tool box on my trailer. Does the height of yours interfere with adjusting the jack?

The jack is a front wind unit, so there is no problem. It did origanaly have a top wind, but the dealer just swapped it out to a front wind unit free of charge. Replacement jacks are available for less than $40.00 so don't let that be a show stopper for you.

Nice setup there Kenny. I like the way you did the D-rings. Toolbox is nice too. I just mounted mine this weekend but haven't taken any pics of it.
