I think we can sum it up by saying that we have all decided to tow with mopeds and eat donuts to get bigger butts.

NO OFFICER, but I do have a major sugar buzz going from this box of Krispy Kremes. Oh, and this here scooter I'm driving has a whopping 49cc engine so it should be able to pull a housetrailer without any problem. YES OFFICER, I can tow your Mother-In-Law too

EVERYTHING on the internet is true! I know I read a website that encourages glazed donuts for losing weight too!
I'm jealous your moped can tow your mother-in-law. Mine can only tow my 16' trailer. Hmm, I'm not sure my truck can tow my ex MIL. My former F250 pulled the neighbor's semi out of the mud but I'm not so sure it would have handled the MIL.

Also, please understand, that there is a big difference between LOAD CAPACITY and TOWING CAPACITY. The scooter could not bear the weight of a M-I-L, the tires would simply pop, the suspension would flatten, and the metal frame would deform. I won't even comment about where the seat will need to be pried out of. However, when it comes to towing, as has been proved many times in this thread, my little 49cc scooter is unrivaled in towing capacity. I've nicknamed it HEMI.
