New Underwear Problem

Try working outside when the windchill is -50[sup]o[/sup]F, the loose snow is getting whipped up into a snowstorm, you're miles away from any building let alone a restroom and your body tells you it's time to take a dump RIGHT NOW! and you're bundled up in multiple layers of clothing including one piece winter underwear (long johns) and also wearing a one piece ski-doo suit. BTDT!

That made me laugh. My uncle was down helping me with some outside work and all the sudden goes "wait - I can't get dirty. These are my DRESS jeans". I just looked at him kind of puzzled and said "there is no such thing"....

I have two pair of dress jeans. My wife went shopping and got me some jeans since all I had were stained or ripped. This was shortly after we started dating. I used them the next day while doing some repairs on the lawn mower after coming back from town. Spun around and ripped a hole in the knee. She was rather upset

That's when the dress jean rule was implemented.

Tried going commando a few times when I was in my 20s. Didn't like it, thought it was uncomfortable. After pinching myself in the zipper I decided enough was enough.

When the elastic around the legholes goes, that's it for me. Don't want to have to keep pulling everything back in when it falls thru.

I'm one who probably takes that to an extreme...my "grub clothes" that I wear when I'm doing something where I'll get dirty are so ratty no self respecting homeless person would take them. When I finally toss them there's not usually enough to even use as rags.

Back in the 80s, one of the jeans makers did some sort of "trade in" promotion...turn in a pair of worn out jeans and get a coupon good towards a new pair. There were dropoff points at stores...you just put a note in a pocket with your name and address and they'd mail you the coupon. Some of the ones people put there were barely broken in, whereas the pair I dropped off was probably more holes than cloth.

I believe in getting my money's worth out of clothes.

That had no effect the enlarged prostate problem. Still haven't figured what to do about that. Tamsulosin side effects are not good for me.

Sounds like you needed some of those Ball-Room Trousers with enough space for the boys to get comfortable
