New warranty BX seat!

I finally got around to calling my dealer about a new seat last Monday. He had not heard anything about the seat replacment program, and said that he would check into it. He called this morning and said to come and get my new seat.

Let me get this straight... You have a new seat in 6 DAYS, from a dealer who knew nothing about it 7 DAYS ago??

Call me baffled...

I contacted my dealer last week by email with the information and they responded that the offer is no longer available so they're trying to find a dealer they can deal with to get me the seat at a reasonable cost.

I didn't realize there was an expiration date for the discounted seat.

that was mentioned from the beginning by dealers, seems as though Kubota only gave them a limited amount of time. I'm glad Kubota did it, but they did it in a bizarre manner.

Got my seat to day had to talk them in to it but I did took my bx in for the 50hr $251 and they looked at all the SB and took care of them ? will see picking it up in the morning and getting a tiller and post hole digger to. TINYTRACTORSERVICE.com

Well, patience does win out. Ordered mine last July when I found out about this program and finally picked it up last Saturday. $20 plus my old seat. The new seat is MUCH nicer on my hinie....

News flash>>>> at my dealer today and they are finally getting seats (they have three, all spoken for) mine should be in next week (apparently I wasn't a skweaky wheel). Now thats what I call service, June till October.

Dealer called today (West Michigan Kubota, good people) and said the seats were in and to come and pick it up. I stopped on the way home from work, installed it and took it for a test ride. It gives the tractor (B3030) a whole new feeling. It took a little getting used to but I think I am going to like it a lot better than the old ski slope. One thing the old one did is remind me to wear the seatbelt everytime I got on just to stay in the seat. Built in safety feature? The new one feels more like an office chair. No sliding forward at all. I'll still wear the the belt, though. It's one of my few good habits.
