Stopped by my SF Bay Area Dealer yesterday to get my upgraded seat for $49. The dealer could not have been any nicer and said that he had one or two extras available for sale to regular customers.
PM me if interested if interested in taking a drive to pick one up in the Bay Area for $49 plus tax. Dealer said that he will not ship.

Got my seat from my dealer today...no charge...yea! This was a great upgrade.... I did notice on his lot, all the BX 24's still had on the old seat!DBT

My dealer has 18 on order, and doesn't know when they will be in. Until then I guess I will have to keep moving my favorite seat out to the tractor.
Kinda inconvienent when I forget to bring it back in the house.

My dealer has 100% new seats on their tractors. Wanted to sit on a old one to "remember when" and couldn't. A good thing, I guess.
Sat on some BX2350's. Newer is better, I guess. Progress...whatever. I can honestly say that I like my square "battlewagon". Something a little more basic about it. Some would call it bad or old, but I have an affinity for it. I'm glad I made the decision to get the previous generation.
And I like it a lot more with new seat! Or next to new...I have about 15 hours on that bad boy already.

Hi. As I waitng to get my new BX24...I thinking about this seat subject. Are all new BX24 equiped with this "old bad" seat? As Im located on the other side of the "big pond" its gonna be very difficult to reclaim a new seat I belive...
Have Kubota changed the "old seat" for the new seat from factory, if so when?

I have seen BX's of different models and production years at several dealers with either seat. Dealers have been playing so much musical seats over the past two years on this that you might find anything out there. IMO any dealer worth dealing with will provide the new seat to anyone purchasing a tractor. If they tell you this is the way it is "take it or leave it" leave it, there are always more dealers. You will not have any trouble telling which seat you have. If the seat looks tilted forward to the point you would have to keep pushing your butt back to keep from sliding off it it then it is the old seat.
