One thing this project has forced me to do, was to install a tow hook on the front of the tractor. The primary purpose of the hook is to give me a more convenient place to put my front binder chain. I hope to get that welded on this morning.
I ran across some neat fasteners yesterday and I used them to hook up the front lights. They come in either a 2 conductor hook-up up to 4 at the hardware store I use. I found out quickly, that if you didn't want a wire in that connector, too bad. You can't remove a wire after it is pushed in. I had never seen these before, but they sure do simplify a wiring project. Here is a picture of one of those connectors.
OK guys, here is the final picture for this project. As I mentioned in a previous post, I needed to put a tow hook on the front of my tractor. I used to run my chain in behind the grill, when I hauled the tractor, but with the new conduit install, I had to come up with an alternative.
I had 2 of these hooks that came off of a jeep. Had a little difficulty welding it on, but I think it will work just fine.
