New Yanmars!

I dont expect to ever need another tractor unless I get more land but I sure do like the looks of the newer Yanmars.

It wouldn't be a hard sell to get me on a new one over anything else available here if the need arose and they do become available here.

I heard roomer that yanmar will start officially importing their new tractors October 1st, 2011. They are concentrating this month to clean out the stock of CCY tractors.

I think if they bring the real Yanmars over, I'm in. I'll order an EF453 if they bring them.

Talked with local cub cadet dealer just north of Houston. He has not decided to opt-in on Yanmar but they are coming with their full line. He was not sure on color scheme but I suspect they will be red/cream of Yanmar. The dealer reported he had to end of year to decide on continuing with Yanmar products. Here they come, the real deal.

That is going to put a serious hurt on the orange and green machines and the other red ones good for Yanmar. The Japanese make the best stuff anyway if we are importing things thats the best place to do it from. my .02

WOW I like that! That 85hp tractor doesn't look too much bigger than my 3810 sweeet.

That is good and bad. If they dont have the weight you will have the same problem we have with our 24hp ones, you run out of traction before power.

When pulling my disk i spin my tires long before i really start bogging and rolling black smoke, about the same with the spring tooth cultivator, i just pull wheelies. Now running my uncles 6ft finish mower, that i actually run out of HP in the tall stuff. That is the only thing where im actually using 24HP the whole time and bogging it up.

Wow, I like those controls. 20 forward/reverse too!:cool: In size that would compare to a JD 4x20 series with 85 hp.

If the smaller ones are like this, I will have to start a savings plan for a new one. Looks great, and most of us know that they should last.

Quite a beautiful machine!! How much, when & where?

Don't think they're gonna be too cheap. Unless they try to flood the market w/cheap tractors to gain a long-range market.........?

I'd say they are going to HAVE to offer attractive prices early-on. It's pretty hard to establish a new market by being overpriced.....especially after they tainted the water with the CC association. ;)

That is exactly right we definitely have more power than traction any day with ours that 85 hp machine looks pretty beefy but its only 2110 kg so its just 4652lbs thats pretty light.

BUT it could run some serious PTO attachments like a small round baler a big mower a big tiller etc that would make it a dream machine to have on a small farm etc I wouldn't think it would pull a huge plow but hardy anyone uses that tool any more anyway in a big scale.

That would be so awsome. Pull a bat wing behind it. :p

This makes me very excited. I first learned how to drive a tractor on my fathers ym186 that he bought brand new way back when. good friend of ours still uses it every week to mow. great little tractor. If they can reproduce that quality and performance they will blow many others out of the water. especially if they come in at a deflated price to get into the market here in the states.
