so whats the deal with the 3rd function?
The vid I saw of bucket removal did not look like there was anything ready to plug the hydraulics into where they were doing the plugging. Is the valve right there? or is it somewhere else and they run tubes to the connection location?

They attach the hydraulic lines on the cross member just behind the bucket. Then you can run a grapple in my case or other implements.

so its only 2 control valves and an optional diverter valve, and not 3 valve sections. That is disapointing.

Yes two control valves the lines run back on the FEL arms to hydraulic control box with control switch on FEL lever. I'm kinda new to all this tractor stuff myself, why would you want 3 valves up front

You can have them add the 3rd value, it allows you to run things like a grapple or 4 in 1 bucket mainly. Also can be used with the snow plow so you can adjust the blade on the the fly.

It is an option, I know they are doing a 3rd value for me, not a diverter, but it is a electronic value, so on / off, no feathering / etc

Looks like the valve is cable actuated. The rear remotes valve looks the same.

The 3rd loader value is operated by two buttons on the loader stick. One opens, one closes.
The first two are cable based mapped to the loader stick.

Well I have the tractor in the yard but raining way too hard to unload tonight,pics tomorrow. However I won't have any pics of third valves as it still hasn't arrived at dealer. Dealer will come get my machine install and return to me at a later date. It's a big gesture for my dealer as I live 3 hours away. Won't need third valve for awhile but I do need the tractor for the next three months. They can have it back when I go hunting.

Thanks, I couldn't be happier! I bought an ABI TR3 and it was delivered today. It's an implament originally as an arena harrow, but also replaces a box blade, land plane. Used it on my drive way today to get rid of pot holes. Well worth the money and the tractor was just a joy to drive doing it. Didn't take any time at all to get used to the forward/reverse lever.

I know this thread is old. Just bought the same tractor. The features, control and price is amazing. I got the 3rd function valve loose will install myself. Wanted the backhoe but 16k was too much.
