Offroadr, I did a good deal of research before I purchased my TC30. It is a great little tractor. For the money and quality, it is hard to beat. I've used mine to mow 15 acres, did fine. It tilled three acres with a 5 foot tiller this spring. Following the tilling, it pulled planter and cultivator over two acres several times now. I had ag tires put on her and she is one hard working little girl. However, I wanted small because I trailer over 100 miles each way. The TC30 4wd is probably close to 2400 lbs. That is on the light side for a tractor. So, is this the tractor for clearing several acres of your 10 acre place, maybe not. Now, I love mine, and have enjoyed every minute on it. But I work slow, slow and steady. There are some heavy tractors that are economical and a good value in my opinion that might do better at dragging around big logs. Take a look at the Farmtrac 535 or 545. This is similar to my old Ford 2000, small, heavy, and tough as nails. Also, take a look at Mahindra. They have one that is heavy and priced right, also quality. These are 2wd I mentioned, but the extra weight will take care of that. They also have them in 4wd for extra $$$. But then a little extra $ opens up some of the heavy 4wd cuts, Branson, Mahindra ...
Take a good look at them all before you decide.
Would I choose my TC30 again. Yes, I sure would. However, would I have picked it if I did not have a need to trailer my machine and I wanted to clear several acres of trees and brush, NO.
