Oil & Fuel Newbie with a '65 Ford 4000

Ok, new question. I replaced several wires yesterday on the tractor on my day off in hopes to locate the temp sender on the front of the tractor. I looked from the oil pre sure sender forward on the left side, and from the starter to the front on the right with no luck. What I was looking for was something similar to what the oil pressure sender looks like. Am I looking in the right place? I've searched on this site and qthe owners manual to be sure that I'm not missing something. All hits on this site say it is on the front end of the block, but the owner book doesn't shoe exactly where it's located. Any help on this?

i think i'd look in the head.. mind you I don't own a 4000.. etc..

in the head at the front of the motor

In the front of the engine. The temp. sending unit is not as big as the oil sending unit (the best that I can recall)

all my fords with temp gauges have them in the head..

Kept digging on the net and followed some old advice from soundguy. When in, doubt check on this site for everything. Granted, not everything on there is still sold as I am learning. And if it is on there, plan to pay a lot for it!

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm learning a ton, but only get to use it on the weekends when I drive up to the property.
