If its a a shuttle shift, try rocking the shuttle lever slightly while turning the key. I have to do that with mine sometimes.
Make sure the power-steering hydraulic hose is moved away from the positive cable where it attaches to the starter. If not, after some time it can rub through the rubber outer layer of the hose, then the wire reinforcement in the hose is exposed and it arcs on the cable and burns a hole through the hose....and you have fuel and spark....
As mentioned, if you still have the black braided low pressure fuel lines, replace them.
It's an awesome tractor.
