Hi there. I'm pretty much getting a crash refresher course in farming. Having grown up working a dairy I have been away from any form of farming for nearly thirty years. Now, through a tremendous blessing my wife, myself and our family are embarking into an endeavor to free ourselves from the ever increasing commodities prices.
We are working our way into operating a small family farm producing our own veggies, meats, and various dairy (Goat) products. We have a tiny three goat 杜ilk herd, a foundation herd of four Boar/ Kiko cross 杜eat goats and a foundation herd of six hair sheep, Barbados and Katahdin.
We live in a log home on 31 acres and are loving it. Any helpful tip, site recommendations, or discussion is welcomed.
