Jeff396, RobS, gatorboy,

The boys are proud of their crew cabs! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Thanks for the 'votes'. Maybe Muhammad can use the question in a survey sometime. Not 'What type of vehicle do you drive?', but 'What make of crew cab do you own?' /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Just to add my vote to the mix. Yes, I'd like a crew cab, but like Harv, am just dreamin'. Have 10 acres but don't even have a truck or "truck-like" vehicle, just two cars. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

Welcome fellow Ford big rig driver,
2000 F350 SRW Crew Cab, Gas V10. I can load up wife ,son, and dog and haul a bunch. The L3000Dt with loader and tiller fit nicely on 20' 14000# GVW tandem axle bobcat trailer. Leaves just enough room for the atv on front of trailer if I turn the atv sideways. Gotta love the big trucks. Just don't try to park it at the grocery store. HAHA. Marty
Is that a 1558 tiller?

Give me 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around.....And don't forget that it's near impossible to make a U-turn!!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Well I dont have the crew cab (yet) I have a 2000 f350 extended cab (no kids or dog yet) /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif . I`m close to out growing the extended cab right now haha. I`m the guy that is always staring at the crew cabs when they drive by ..trying to justify one to myself...haha

We easily justified the crew cab over the extended. When you put a car seat in the back of an extended cab the kids will spend the whole trip kicking the back of your seat. Although I wouldn't reccomend having kids to justify a truck/w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif.

Dverbarg, I don't even have the acreage here, but I have a pickup, and no car! (Wife and teenage son) Course, I've been obstinate for many years, won't go w/o my p/u.

Scruffy,

Used to have an old GMC '81 1500 pickup. It was great. Used it while remodeling an old farm house hauling all the supplies. Got rid of it a few years back and have had a hankerin' for one ever since. Borrow/rent vehicles, pay for delivery, etc have all become my mode of operation. Almost bought a '95 Dodge 2500 pickup from my inlaws, extended cab, Cummins Diesel --nice truck. Ended up saving the money and building a house instead. Maybe, just maybe one of these years ....

Used to have? I'm still driving an '81 F250 standard cab; can't run with the big boys on this forum./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I'm driving a '95 Ford F150 extended cab. Maybe a powerstroke diesel in the future.
