Greetings All,

I'm 75 and re-building the transaxle on my JD 214 Lawn Tractor. I also have a 1949 MT and a 1956 620 and a few implements.

I live on one acre near Alvarado TX.

I have too many hobbies.

Right now, my lawn is so long I'm scared to walk out there.

Hi, I'm TominNTX,

I have a 1949 John Deere MT, 1956 JD 620, a Number 5 Mower, a John Deere Dain Mower, a Number 50 Box Blade and a JD 214 Lawn Tractor. Some of them run some of the time.

I just overhauled the JD 214 Lawn Tractor transmission. Big job, Got most of the parts off e-bay. Now, third gear finally works. I just mowed my acre with it. First time this year (took that long to get it running). Grass and weeds knee-high. I didn't need third gear for that.
