It seems like the purpose of the website is to get you to visit the dealership, like a magazine or newspaper ad. It shows a certain lack of understanding of the web audience.))

An absolute lack of understanding the web audience. I admit to being somewhat of a tractor geek and will compare specs just for fun. But if NH can't do a good job of explaining the huge advantage in visibility and therefore productivity they have with their curved loader/sloped hood then a typical web shopper will just look at the specs, nothing more. Look at the attached photo, it shows 2 tractors in my driveway, both have very similar lift capacity. Which would you rather use? (BTW this is an old photo and I would recommend NH use CURRENT production machines in a test!). But you don't see this type of thing GRAPHICALLY on either the CASE or the NH websites. I can explain it, but most people don't get it until they see it. These types of things will, if shown on their website, will help get people to the dealership.

I switched from Firefox to IE so I could see the NH ad. I use the Netscape package(Mainly because Outlook Express is so limited) and I fired up Internet Exterminator and still get no ads of any kind.

An absolute lack of understanding the web audience. I use the internet about 85% to pursue information of one kind or another. I don't buy socks w/o researching on the web. But the site that really does something for me is the Wheelhorse (now owned by Toro) site. I can search for parts for every piece of Wheelhorse equipment I own, get exploded diagrams and valid part numbers I can go to my dealer with. I wish I could do the same for the 1310 I just foolishly bought!
