I have just finished up months of backhoe attachment research as to which make and model to buy for my TC-40. The backhoe makes that I would choose from would have to have a sub-frame mounting kit. That mounting kit would also have to be permantly attached to the tractor and not be part of the backhoe when seperated. Any detached backhoe is large enough to park and store as it is without adding another 6' +- of sub-frame rails. The out of production 756/757/758C NH backhoe attachments have the sub-frame rails attached to the backhoe when seperated from the tractor.
The backhoe had to be SAE fastened. I don't want to have to buy any metric tools. By the way-my Canadian manufactured Wallenstein BX42 chipper is SAE. I called Wallenstein and found that out before purchasing it.
The backhoe make that I would choose from would have to also offer a hydraulic thumb as part of their factory package. The hydraulic thumb that I wanted really cut the field down to just three manufactures. There may be more out there as I did not look too close at the offshore models.
I kept landing back on the Woods BH90-X Groundbreaker. It's going to cost you a few grand more but since this is my first and last backhoe, hopefully I will get it right the first time. It is being built now and I should have it attached by the end of the month.
One other thing-according to my NH manual, your TC-35 has the same 9.8 GPM hydraulic pump capacity as my TC-40. The Woods installation manual lists your tractor as also being eligible for the sub-frame mounted BH90-X. They do also offer smaller backhoes but none with a factory hydraulic thumb, mechanical only.
Hope this helps, it really comes down to what you expect (now and in the future) to accomplish with the backhoe.
