NH Ownership Question

   / NH Ownership Question #11
Maine:
MyTC35 has been great, as has the dealer....so I'd do it again, even though I've got nothing to compare. The JD dealer I bring my 30 yr old 180 mower to is also great, but the comparable JD tractor was more expensive. At only 1 year and a couple of dozen hours, I am sure my complaints lie in front of me, not yet behind....but at the current rate (zero) this is not a problem.

We painted the barn red this year (was unpainted before), and the doors got done in NH Blue...it's very striking...more so than would have been green and certainly more than orange would have been. Another reason to be happy having gone Blue.

Good luck with whatever color you choose! There's no shortage of company here.

I started a thread on class III improvements but don't assume that I'm unhappy with my TC35D. I'm an engineer... I can't help but want to tweak things! I'd buy my TC35D all over again if I was selecting right now. My few problems have been minor and promptly fixed by the dealer.

If you are new to the site it might appear that certain COLORS have problems. A closer examination would reveal mostly minor problems that are usually fixed under waranty. I think those who have replied have given some of the best info you will get. Where in Maine are you located? I live in Southern Maine. I bought from Union Farm Equipment and have been treated very well. I have a TC 21 D with 67 Hours on it with no problems.

Thanks for all of the comments. It's reassuring to me to hear you all say you'd repeat your purchase of an NH product. I'm still a little concerned about longevity and resale value.

I presently own a 1982 Kubota B7100 HST that has served me exceptionally well from day one, and has proven to be both durable and easy to service - it's just too small for my present application.

Thanks again.

Banjob: I'm in York, and have only spoken w/ Scamman Bros. thus far. I will check with Union next. I'm glad to hear that you've had a good experience with Union, as I don't know anyone else in the area that has purchased equipment from them.

Chas, you'd better be careful! You might forget one day and park the Boomer in front of those barn doors and not be able to find it when you come back! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

If I were you in York I would try Chappell in Brentwood, NH. They sell both NH and Kubota. (www.chappelltractor.com) . I also would try East Eliot Garage, they are I believe, a Kubota dealer. I would highly recommend Union Farm, who sell both NH and Kub,but you are quite a distance from them.
