Saw this on ebay. Looks pretty nice. Not to sure this statement is totally true. "Yanmar makes all of John Deere's compact tractors so parts and service are readily available. John Deere dealerships will work on these Yanmar tractors since they have identical twins labeled as "John Deere" instead of "Yanmar". "

Its a 155D, an American Yanmar. Good news is it was probably sold new by a Deere/Yanmar dealer back in the day when Deere didn't build any tiny tractors, just before Deere contracted Yanmar to build for them. It was common for Deere dealers to take on Yanmar as a second line. That dealer probably will maintain it for the new owner. My local Deere dealer says he still has shop manuals for the Yanmars he sold but he hasn't seen one in years.

However - YM155D has no Deere twin. The small Yanmar-built Deeres back then were Deere models 650, 750, 850 etc and I think the 850 was the only one with a Yanmar-Japan equivalent. (YM2500?)

So the seller is partly right. There isn't a problem getting service for this at a Deere dealer.
