Skypup,

How confident are you of that delivery date? I did purchase a new L35 from my dealer. I wonder if I should postpone delivery for a few more weeks? The only reason i went with the L35 is because i thought the size of the L39 would be a little too big to haul with my 1/2 ton pickup.

I'd be real careful with the L35 behind a half ton truck.

As for the backhoe, very few hoes fit on cab tractors as they are not set back far enough. After market companies that are in the business of making odd subframes will make one that fits. We use Woods and Bradco all the time.

Neil, I realize that aftermarket hoes fit the cabbed tractors but I think Kubota should make a hoe that works with their cabbed tractors. Kubota is breaking new ground with innovative products like the cabbed B3030. Why wouldn't they make a hoe fit that tractor? Stupid on their part. My 2 cents! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Little Diesel, I spoke to my dealer just yesterday and he said the LTB-39 is arriving the first of February and will take three days for setup and delivery to our farm. I was expecting it to show up in early March, but he will have two at the beginning of February.

It is a major 25% improvement over the TLB-35 and costs LESS, so it is definitely worth the wait!!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Sky...Have you seen yours yet? It's the 5th of Feb and no word yet....Maybe you're out trenching on the new rig. I hope so.

I stopped by my dealer today to take a look at a few things and they had an L39 sitting out on the lot ready to go. I took a few pictures figuring somebody might be interested. Inserting one here in the thread - the others can be downloaded (pics are big and I didn't want to reduce the quality) Tractor Pictures

As I was browsing your pics for the NH TZ Woods hoe, I also looked at your L39 pics. They were very nice. I only looked at a couple, but I noticed a Forward - Reverse lever on the dash. I thought the L39 had the GST transmission and not a shuttleshift? Are there two versions or are they one and the same? I know the GST is a clutchless transmission, but do you still need the clutch when moving the lever from F - R or vice-versa? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It does have the GST and no the clutch is not needed to go from F-R. What you might be seeing is the throttle control console for BH work.
