from that website it is running $1400 - Gen 2 stuff is leaps and bounds above gen 1. I am able to see deer out in our fields, but they are more like blobs at 100yds - you cant see much detail..

Thanks, Brian. Those websites are helpful. Gen2 for $1,400...that puts NV back in consideration. I will have to spend some time on the NV forum. Seeing the posted images comparing Gen1 to Gen2 is exactly what I wanted.

A good IR torch can make junk NV stuff look decent and decent stuff look good.
