Eric, I'm pretty sure you'll get a lot of use out of those - just a word of caution though, I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on HF's excuse for F-style welding clamps - I bought a couple when they were on sale just to try out, ended up using 'em for temporary paper towel holders :rolleyes: Instead, for not a lot more money the Stronghand clamps (1200 pound rated) have worked really well for me - they come with pipe adapter and a "step over" spacer, can be reversed to use as a spreader, and cost about HALF what a plain Wilton costs - I have a couple of the Wiltons, and only use 'em when I run out of the Stronghand ones. Here's where I get mine, the 8" 1200 pound ones are often on sale for around $20 - Enco - Guaranteed Lowest Prices on Machinery, Tools and Shop Supplies HTH... Steve Here's one project where I needed nearly every clamp I had - if you click the "+" sign, the two overpriced Wilton's are in the upper left corner (with the copper plated lead screws)

Thanks for the lead.

Have several from TSC that have copper plates screws seem pretty good overal.

Eric, how do you make your TSC purchases? Online or cross border shopping?

well TSC purchases are in Canada and Tractor Supply Co purchases are made cross border in store or online ship to store.

Just depends which is the best deal with the %16 exchange rate!

I have to agree about those clamps. A great tool, and a great value from ENCO. The V pad is a must if you work with tube and pipe.

Still not sure if you mean that Tractor Supply Co ships to TSC. If so, do they charge for across the border shipping?

Thanks for clarifying, Eric. I see that they only have stores in Manitoba and Ontario.

No

Tractor Supply Co is usa based and does not ship cross border to TSC.

I was letting members know that where not aware that TSC and Tractor Supply Co are virtually the same stores-for those who did not know that. Different names for Can/USA although very similar.

Hope this helps

A bit of a story here but here goes;

Was trying to order the tables online the other day and had issues. Msg popped up call this 1-800 number as we are having trouble processing your order.

Called and told the girl I had a %25 off coupon single item.

Told her I wanted 2 tables. Was on hold for a minute.

She gave me both tables %25 off shipped together for $6.99 sweet!
