Non Kubota Oil Filter

I'm preparing to do 200 hr maintenance on L3430 can I use a non-kubota brand oil filter? Not good idea? Fram #? Amsoil # Anyone else doing this with oil / hydro filters?

The last time I looked I did not find any filters other than Kubota for the Lxx30 series. If you do find them please publish the info

I use WIX. They have a solid reputation, and nearly every farmer in the area uses WIX in their equipment. I don't know who makes filters for Kubota, but I do know that WIX works. Wix has a web site which should cross reference your filter numbers if they make an equivalent filter.

I second WIX filters. Great filters at a reasonable cost. Many companies re-brand WIX filters for their own use. I know NAPA Gold filters are WIX around here for instance.

I just checked and WIX lists only air and fuel filters for the L3130 and the L3430; for the L3830 they also list an oil filter if your engine model number matches.

Napaonline.com list two oil filters for the L3430. Just put in the non napa filter #.
I have Napa filters on my Mitisibisi 372D cut , Cat C13 in a Peterbilt and many other weird applications in the past. Napa is good for the non everyday parts.

We have a kit that has the guts a few differnet filters torn apparet so you can see the differences. There are pictuers on our website. The WIX filters seemed pretty good, I'd shy away from FRAM - those look shotty.
