Norse 2500?

Hi,

I've been offered the option to purchase a Norse 2500 winch. Any idea when these were made, and what a ballpark reasonable price would be? It's a little worn but appears to have been well-maintained. Google turned up surprisingly little info for me.

I suspect price would depend on what shape the Norse winch it is, but without looking anything up, I'd expect if it is in working condition and doesn't need a new cable, that $1500 would be a reasonable ballpark price.

What would it be worth to you to be able to winch logs out of the woods with this winch?

I just bought a 290 in really good condition for 1100$. Before you go a head and decide on a price check the friction plates on the clutch assembly, they should be more than 2mm.
