Some of you guys need to relax and enjoy life. I have never even noticed guys with plows being an issue.

Kubota B3030 HSDC snowblowing Jan 2012 (HD) - YouTube

I am completely relaxed now that I've straightened out my mangled mailbox...... but, now you got me thinking we have snow coming again on Monday. What should I do? He's coming back.

I think the Mr. Plows in Michigan are probably much better than they are around here.:)

Find someone else or do it yourself.

You might have missed the first page. I got mine. The rant is about the people that plow the other driveways.....and then back into my mailbox. etc...

How about setting up a game camera to snap a few shots of him hitting your mailbox? Then you could confront him or his insurance agent about paying for the damage.

Is he even insured to be plowing?? or is he just the guy with the beat up truck and plow out working for beer money and undercutting all the people that actually do it for a business?

I remember back in the 70's hearing from a guy who got tired of the city plow truck pushing mountains of snow onto his property at the end of the cul d sac he lived on. He had a giant boulder at the corner of his drive, and the plow truck would cut close by it to leave the snow. The guy telling the story drilled a nice hole in the boulder, and inserted a piece of 1" rebar. The plow guy came through in the night, hit the rebar with the side of his plow, and noise his blade made when the truck swung around and smacked the boulder woke everybody up. Bent the rebar, but heck, that was the price of stopping the snow dumping.

Ah, just the many pleasures of WINTER!

A friend was spending his nights running a Versatile with a box blade down in the city. They have had so much snow, that there isn't any place left for it to go, so he basically spent the night filling up peoples driveways! He was working mostly in parts with New Indian Immigration. Welcome to Canada!

This day in time, I dont think I would try that. I would try contacting the city first. As long as the driver wasnt pushing "mountains" of snow up his drive, I doubt there would be any recourse for him. And I certainly wouldnt want to be on the hook for buy the city a new plow/truck.

The snow has to go somewhere other than the roads. AS I said before, the ones who complain about snow being pushed on their property, or having the end of their drive plowed in.....Are the first ones to complain if the roads arent cleared to their satisfaction.

My Dad had a tree on the boulevard in front of his house, that whenever it got icy, some idiot would mount the curb and take out the tree, being on a curve. All his neighbours had much larger trees. Anyway, he hammered a substantial piece of steel in the ground next to the tree to make for a better learning experience I guess!

In truth, some six feet or so behind the sidewalk is still road allowance belonging to the city!
