A practical question that was raised above (never towed a boat trailer). Do the bearings have hubs you can slap a grease gun on, or do you have to take them off and repack them every year?
Normally on a car or truck you don't pack the entire inside of the hub full of grease, you only pack the bearings themselves and maybe a light film of grease inside the hub.would I be correct in assuming that sealed bearings don't work with boat trailers because of the submersion?
And whats your experience with bearing buddies been? On boat trailers that is. No problems for me on things I've put them on.

Never seen sealed bearings on any trailer, period.
