So, we all have opinions. If you had to describe the major CUT manufacturers with just a phrase or two, what would you say?? All in good humor of course!

I'll start it off

John Deere - used to be universally good even if +$$ for green paint. Lately their design and quality seems to be cheapened up and not all models are equivalent.

Kubota - +$ for orange paint , but seems to be the Honda of tractors. Some models seem to struggle with Tier 4.

Mahindra - looks good on paper, but too many rumblings about quality.

Massey Ferguson - Your Father's Oldsmobile.

New Holland - The Shibauras were great - LS less so.

LS, TYM, Branson, etc. - Here today, gone tomorrow?

Kioti - They seem like the Hyundai of the tractor world. Up and coming. Well designed with good features and competent enough to pull it off.

The sound of a JD at work just blends in with all the rest since they dropped the 2-cylinder engines.

I remember neighbors getting together to see whose JD would idle the slowest.

I miss those sounds.

Yanmar- great engineering, terrible marketing. Seem satisfied with their minuscule market share_ could have been a contender.

Why discriminate between brands when you can just say that CUT's are all just toys. LOL.

I suspect that trying to differentiate between foreign CUT's is like a tallest midget contest.

Such a cool sound. The old Massey 3 cyl had a cool sound too. But the JD 2 cyl is classic.
