So, we all have opinions. If you had to describe the major CUT manufacturers with just a phrase or two, what would you say?? All in good humor of course!

I'll start it off

John Deere - used to be universally good even if +$$ for green paint. Lately their design and quality seems to be cheapened up and not all models are equivalent.

Kubota - +$ for orange paint , but seems to be the Honda of tractors. Some models seem to struggle with Tier 4.

Mahindra - looks good on paper, but too many rumblings about quality.

Massey Ferguson - Your Father's Oldsmobile.

New Holland - The Shibauras were great - LS less so.

LS, TYM, Branson, etc. - Here today, gone tomorrow?

Kioti - They seem like the Hyundai of the tractor world. Up and coming. Well designed with good features and competent enough to pull it off.

Nothing I care to add, preety much sums it up. Well done.

Kioti: designed for the comparison shopper with an Excell spreadsheet.

Kubota: It's got to be better, right?

Deere: It used to be better, right?

LS, Yanmar, Mahindra: There used to be a dealer here, right?

Oh now that is funny.. I built a large spreadsheet comparing Kioti, Kubota, Mahindra, Deere, etc. when I was shopping. Thanks for the laugh.

Here is my take on it from a newbie/novice perspective. Still have not purchased one yet but have done a heck of a lot of research and test driving.

John Deere - Cadillac of Tractors - Seems the best years are in the past, but still asking for top dollar. Focused on the brand not the customer.
Kubota - Solid choice for the day. Focused on what it sells and in touch with it target markets. A cannot lose choice for a new customer to the tractor market.
Massey Ferguson - The Professional's choice that is pushing hard into the CUT and SCUT markets. They seem to also 'get it'. The most passionate customers, even more than Kubota
Mahindra - Good value, but then again Wal-Mart sells 'value for your dollar' too. What I have read does not install enough confidence in my mind to purchase.
Case i/H - Seems like they focus on the Professional market and the CUT is just because they need too.
Kioti - Good following and brand reputation. Just too far for me to consider.
LS, TYM, Branson - Good less expensive alternatives.

Kioti is Chevvy engine red. Must be why mine goes so well....... Lets face it, Red is always fastest......

I didn't know tractors were supposed to be fast? I guess you are going to claim your Kioti is heavier than most 30 hp tractors AND goes faster.

Hey, you guys forgot Mitsubishi!
Maybe not the most popular as they decided all the American safety stuff and liabilities issues were more than what they wished to deal with, they pulled the North American plug.
However please note all who use their engines. Sort of a who's who of the equipment market.

Great commercial. But in general, it's too bad that the marketing people have taken over the world. They could all learn a thing or two from Henry Ford.
