Well I haven't let him officially borrow it yet but, the night I brought it home he was at my little brothers ball game until 10:30 pm. He stopped in and I had a little test drive planned for him already. My wife drove it 5 minutes to work that night, 3rd shift 7-7. I of course road with her and drove it back home. I told pops I need to go drop Crissy off the car so she can get home tomorrow. So he jumped in the Truck and you know what his first words were...."I don't like it." I said I know Dad. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif He's been razzin me ever since. He liked a tore the gears out of it coming back home. There's nothing I can say or ever do so I just sit there in the passanger seat and grit my teeth. D#@n Kid!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I love em though.

Woops Jim the aswer to your question:
( BTW: When "old Dad" asks to borrow your truck, what are you gonna say? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

I'm gonna say... "Ohhhhh I don't know dad, that's a long ways from home. Don't be hot roddin it and watch when you turn corners it's got a longer wheel base you know and a bigger blind spot. Don't blow the speakers out, give yourself plenty of braking room, don't burn my brakes up and warp my rotors by waiting on the last minute to brake, pay attention to what your doin and don't think your king of the road, no speeding, keep you feet on the mats, no what's around you at all times and be careful. Try to be back home before 5:00 pm." Something to that effect. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Nice truck, that is what's known around here as a 'Hoss' capitalized for respect. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

firtol88, thanks. I probably won't ever own a nicer one. In no attempt to brag cause I'm more of a humble person, I'd have to say your right on being a "HOSS"! It is to me anyhow.

Although the F-650 up at Ricart in Columbus, OH was rediculous. Here's an example of what they had at Ricart. It's definitely a HOOOOOOSSSSSSS!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

One more example it actually was closer to this one. And if these aren't tough looking then I'd like to see what is. There not trucks there tractors. International makes them.

Cool truck. My next truck will be a F250 or F350.

( anyone have any opinions or info on their diesel and gas quality? )

Like a lot of people, I hate to see Wal-Mart take over everything, but I'm probably one of their best customers because they're convenient; i.e., close, open 24 hours, have lots of variety, and better prices. There are a couple of local places whose posted gasoline prices usually match Murphy USA; i.e., Wal-Mart, but if you use a Wal-Mart shopping card, that's another 3 cents a gallon off. So we just keep one of those shopping cards in each vehicle, and have been using their gasoline almost exclusively for about a year and half. As far as I know, it's as good as any. No experience with their diesel, but it appears to me that our local Wal-Mart sells quite a bit of it.

Thanks a lot bird. I know there use to be a Krogers near where I use to work and they had the Card discount fuel. I thought that Wal-mart might do the same but didn't pay attention to see any advertisment on pump or signs. We're members of Sam's Club and I think that card should be suffecient possibly? I'll have to check. Thanks for the pointer and reply. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
