HighRidge, I wish you the best in finding that F-250 your talking about. I can finally pull stuff with a little more confidence now. Now if I can just find a good used pull behind or 5th wheel camper in the next couple years I'll be set. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mark that's exactly what I told my wife when we got her home. We're in the process of looking at house plans and what not. I told her we'll just build a big shelter house, pull underneath and live in the truck. Sell the other two wore out vehicles and one of us work 1rst shift and the other 3rd. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Thanks for the reply. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nope, that doesn't count. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif The "Wal-Mart shopping card" is what is usually known as a gift card or gift certificate. In other words, they're getting their money in advance, and if the card should be lost or destroyed, they made even more money. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif And here, at least, they do not sell those cards at the gas pump cashier's window; you have to go inside Wal-Mart to buy one. It's a little inconvenient, but if you use a lot of gas, 3 cents a gallon makes it worth the inconvenience.

Bird, that's what I've come to understand after talking to my wife as well. Makes since though. It would be nice if you could put money on it at the gas station as well unless you can do that at the cashier window? Thanks for the info Bird. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Best of luck with your new Rig! Looks good.

My neighbor's had 3 of the 6.0 PS trucks, he loves them. (BTW: the first two were bought back as lemons, now the third is on its 2nd turbo.) Keep the warranty info handy.

Thanks I appreciate it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Father has a 98 3/4 Ton Dodge Cummins, 75,000 miles on it. He likes it as well. Transfer case slowly leaks and he's had his fair share of trouble with the rear end and brakes on the front. Other than that it's been a good truck for him.

I think they all fail from time to time it's just a matter of who showed up for work the day it was built (QC). I do like the Dodge Cummins though they're a fine engine. Maybe Power Stroke will be a close second huh.

Should of gotten a used pulling truck and then get a Toyota Prius. Pretty sweet cars to cruise in.

Didn't want used for once. Wanted something for long trips pulling boat/camper as well and something a few couples could comfortably ride in. Already have two other vehicles. One to save fuel mileage and the other for a work truck.
